2017 year of superlative blessings - Bishop

The Anglican Bishop of Owerri, Rt. Rev. Cyril C. Okorocha, Ph.D has declared the year 2017 as a year that is going to be full of divine and positive surprises, superlative blessings and intervention from God, to prove to us that He is indeed a Sovereign Lord.
Bishop Okorocha, made this prophetic declaration during the well-attended Crossover Service held at Christ's Anglican Church, Owerri, to mark the end of the year 2016, and to usher in the new year, 2017.

He urged all those present in the special service, as well as all listeners, as the service was relayed live via the radio network of the Orient FM 94.4 Station, to repent and mend their ways in order to benefit from the prophecy, taking his text from the issue of the "dry bones" which he said came up alive again, as contained in Ezekiel Chapter 37.

The Prelate warned that in this year of God's intervention, we should all try to listen to what God is saying to us and faithfully believe Him.

In the same vein, as he was preaching on the same theme at the New Year Holy Communion Service held at the Cathedral Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL) Owerri he challenged Christians to acknowledge the sovereignty of God and to always put their hands in the hands of the Almighty God, adding that when the Spirit of God visits his faithful, either at home, in business or place of work, "the dry bones" in such a situation will come alive once again, and in such a manner that would be startling to the one concerned.

As the Bishop further said, the Sovereign Lord is the One who is in control of the universe, and who has a timetable, that only He knows and can interpret.
