All is set for the dedication of the Cathedral Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL) in Owerri on Saturday, May 6.
Our reporter who visited the Church at the weekend observed that the environment was wearing a new look, with finishing touches being made on the magnificent edifice.
Work on both interior and exterior of the cathedral was on high gear while the CIBT headed by Engr. Sir Baldwin Onozie were working round the clock to beat the deadline.
Meanwhile, the CATOL Dedication Committee has set all machinery in motion to ensure that the dedication is successful.
The sub-committees have all been alive to their responsibilities and, come May 6, Anglicans will have another cause to glorify God for making the CATOL dream a reality under Bishop Cyril C. Okorocha PhD and his wife, Dr. (Mrs) Eunice Okorocha.
The CATOL foundation was laid in 1979 by the then Archbishop of Canterbury, Most Rev. Cogan.
You know your projects stand out of the herd. There is something special about them. It seems to me all of them are really brilliant!
