Some tenants in Orji, near Owerri, capital of Imo State, are relocating following intensified activities of cultists in the area.
The peace of the suburb, which is close to the Imo State University (IMSU) and houses a great number of off-campus students, has constantly been violated as the cult members engage themselves in wars.

Scenes of pandemonium, according to Christian Voice investigation, have become regular occurrence in the area as people are often seen scampering for safety, locking up their shops and staying indoors whenever a fight breaks out among the cultists.

Innocent people are afraid to walk on the street, as a result of the activities of the hoodlums as they fear to be arrested

Day's laters, members of the same gang engaged another one in a shooting spree in the evening forcing residents to stay indoors to avoid being hit by stray bullets.
