One will agree with me that the Heartland FC of old at the NPFL and the Heartland of now at the NNL after being relegated is not the same. Thanks to the relentless efforts of the new management of the team always trying to put smiles on the faces of the fans in Owerri and beyond the state.
The president of the club, Goodfaith Chibuzor “Bash” Etuemana who, on Monday celebrated his birthday during the week was given the best birthday gift by the players by winning AS Racine 2-1 at home (Dan Anyiam).
If the players and the management will continue like this, not losing focus on their goal to bring the Naze Millionaire back to where they rightly belong at the Nigeria Professional Football League with God on their side, surely that will be the most fantastic reward for their fans everywhere.
