Iwuanyanwu, Ihedioha hail Supreme Court judgement on PDP leadership tussle

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, has called on all PDP members in the country to accept the Supreme Court's judgment on the leadership tussle that had stifled the party since it lost powered to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Reacting to Wednesday's judgement of the Supreme Court which affirmed Ahmed Makarfi as the authentic leader of the party, Chief Iwuanyanwu maintained that the party is one and stressed the need for all members to come together and move the party forward, especially now that the 2019 elections are around the corner.

Speaking also on the judgement, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Emeka Ihedioha, described the judgement as victory for democracy, adding rather that all feuding members should see it as a no-victor-no-vanquished situation and work for the restoration of the party.

According to him, PDP remains one family and will remain so.
